Physiotherapy can help with regaining movement after stroke, in both arms and legs (and trunk) and can help you move towards your goals. 


Everyone's brain is capable of change after a stroke. Relearning to move again after a stroke means establishing new connections in the brain. Physiotherapy can help you do this by using the principles of neuroplasticity.

Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's Disease is a condition which leads to a number of motor symptoms i.e. problems with movement. 


Carla has training in all stages of the disease and can help with maximising movement and helping you to live your best life with this condition. 


Carla has undergone training in neuroactive exercise, including Level 2 of the PD Warrio

Carla has undergone training in neuroactive exercise, including Level 2 of the PD Warrior training programme), which is specifically designed for this condition, helping to slow down progression.


Later on down the line you may need advice on walking aids, and cueing strategies to overcome freezing episodes, etc.
